Gloria Gaynor發行過兩張專輯，I'll survive此曲收錄在第二張專輯，是她為了證明自己戰勝脊髓受傷所製作。
歌詞意義非凡又帶有劇情，超適合現在的！ 點這首歌給自己、還有周遭關心我的人：）




我第一次聽到這首歌，是在沙漠妖姬Adventures of priscilla.這部電影，三位伴裝皇后在穿越沙漠時，為中途遇見的一群印地安人表演的歌曲。後來，似乎高中舞蹈課所跳的超有氧體操就是這首歌。第二次聽到，則是在月亮上的男人結尾，為了紀念死去主角精神而唱的，還有大家一定也看過的，在史瑞克前往拯救歐菲娜時，神仙教母氣勢非凡的版本...。 

這首歌由於意義非凡，其實出現在超多電影中（可見Gloria的超連結介紹），但除去出現在電影的搭配，這首怎麼都翻唱不爛的歌，我最喜歡的是cake演唱的版本。上面這偽MV好像是他人自己製作的，片中的警察復仇心態，卻是KUSO了原本歌詞意涵，錯置又有點酸的黑色幽默，其實也蠻貼切人心的瞬息萬變。
